Liz a 16 year old girl from Busia who was raped and beaten in 2013 has finally received justice.
Three men accused of the crimes have been sentenced to 15 and 7 years imprisonment respectively for both offences. Liz's case had attracted local and global attention after police failed to arrest the people who raped her and instead punished them by asking them to cut grass.
