5 Kenyan musicians who have been alleged to 'steal' songs

The following are Kenyan musicians who were accused of allegedly stealing other musician's songs.

1. Gloria Muliro

Nameless who broke into the music industry with his hit song mega rider was on 2008 accused of stealing beats used in his salari hit song. The allegations were made by Serge Nkurunzinza a Burundian singer for using his beat for the song Amahera . Standardmedia.co.ke, nameless denied the allegations saying the lyrics were different although the beat was the same due to a studio mix up.
Nameless said he had bought the beat from Ugandan producer Washington a few years back. "It is unfortunate that the beat is the same. I had bought it from Washington who wanted me to record Sinzia remix. I kept the beat until I wrote Salari,"
