His private parts of the man had been severed off and it is not clear who was behind it. The body was discovered early this morning and police say they are yet to know those behind it and the motive.
The body was taken to the mortuary as investigations continue. The area did not experience any form of protests yesterday.
Meanwhile, there was tension and riots in parts of Nairobi’s informal settlement areas last evening as the electoral commission announced Uhuru Kenyatta as the president elect.
Police say incidents were reported in Kibera, Kawangware, Limuru, Roysambu, Embakasi, Luckysummer, Babadogo, Mathare, and many other places. There were cases where police used live bullets and teargas canisters to disperse the mobs.
Police say there were incidents of riots and celebrations in the CBD before they were forced to disperse the groups to avoid a clash. There were however no serious damage to property and no injury was reported.
