Defending champions Ivory Coast have been bundled out of the 2017 AFCON after losing one nil to Morocco in their final group C match.
Morocco coached by former Ivory Coast coach Herve Renard earned their goal through Rachid Alioui in the second half. Ivory Coast needed a win to advance to the last eight.
Elsewhere, DR Congo eased to the quarter finals Group C winners with a 3-1 win over Togo. Junior Kabananga maintained his goal scoring form with Ndombe Mubele and Paul-Jose M'Poku adding the other two goals.
According to BBC, DR Congo go on to play the Group D runners-up in the quarter-finals, which will be one of Mali, Ghana or - most likely - Egypt.
