Tottenham and Harambee Stars midfield maestro, Victor Wanyama was on Tuesday awarded with a Best of Africa role model award for his ongoing charity work.
The 25-year old was recognized for his philanthropic role in helping the less unfortunate in Africa, joining an elite list of previous winners which include the likes of; Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure, Odion Ighalo and Alexandre Song.
Honoured to win an award for my work helping disadvantaged children in Kenya. It is important to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

The Best of Africa was established to support and celebrate African-owned philanthropic endeavour, and to give awareness for the effort and the hard work that football players put into projects for Africa through altruism and leadership.
