Jackie and Boniface separated in 2011 under unclear circumstances and were unable to work out their differences despite efforts by the former to make peace.
Following their split, Boniface retreated to Bungoma with their two children and left his wife in Kajiado.
The children are aged 13 and 11.
They had been married for 12 years.
Recently, Jackie, 33, learnt that Boniface, 40, wants to leave the children alone in Bungoma so that he can take up a job in Nairobi.
Her husband's decision to abandon the children prompted Jackie to call Gidi and Ghost to help her reconcile with Boniface for the sake of her children.
