If you are in marriage or planning to get married anytime soon, you may find today's Swahili words of the day useful. Bavyaa and mavyaa are the Swahili words for father-in-law and mother-in-law respectively.
As usual, Gidi and Ghost could not resist making fun of the words they learnt today and took exception with mavyaa's almost similar pronunciation with another Swahili word, mavi (human waste). "If you call your mother-in-law mavyaa she may think you are insulting her," quipped Gidi.
