Lawyer Donald Kipkorir wants the DPP and EACC to take action against individuals running the presidential strategic communication unit Twitter account for abusing him.

Kipkorir had called out Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and deputy Polycarp Igathe over the mushrooming of kiosks, mitumba stalls and matatus in the up market Karen estate known to be home to Kenya’s high flying personalities.

“Your Excellencies Gov. @MikeSonko & Dep. Gov @IgathePolycarp , when we moved to Karen, we thought we were climbing up Maslow Hierarchy ...

"But what are kiosks, matatus & mitumba clothes doing here? Where is our Masterplan? Kenya is a Capitalist State. Let Karen be Karen,” read Kipkori’s tweet.

In its reply, @PSCU_Digital quoted Kipkorir’s tweet, saying the lawyer did not have the capacity to engage Sonko or Igathe on any issue.

“Well #SlayQueenLawyer ama ni #SocialiteLawyer got his match @ahmednasirlaw @kipmurkomen @OleItumbi,” @PSCU_Digital tweeted.

The tweet was later deleted and the PSCU apologised for the inappropriate reply after Kenyans shared screenshots and criticised the press service.

“We apologize for the tweet that appeared on our timeline. We agree it was inappropriate. It has been deleted. Thanks for pointing it out. Administrative action has been taken,” PSCU said.

But Kipkorir replied, “Keriako Tobiko @ODPP_KE , Halakhe Wako @EACCKenya & @NziokaWaita ... Demanding you take action against the person who in violation of Chapter 6 Of our Constitution & Public Officer Ethics Act used @PSCU_Digital to abuse me: abuse of office, corruption & denigrating Public office.”

PSCU is the official communication channel of President Uhuru Kenyatta's office.

It releases speeches, photos and event proceedings from the president's office and has a team led by Dennis Itumbi, among others.
