Surgeons at a veterinary hospital in China have attached a pair of wheels to the body of an eight-month-old cat that had lost mobility in its hind limbs after falling from the ninth floor to the fifth floor of a building in November last year.

The cat can now easily move with the help of the wheels which now serve as its hind legs.

The animal had to undergo four surgeries to get the prosthetic device fitted to its body and the cat's damaged hind legs had to be removed as a result.
