On 1st November, 2016 Fred Arocho's 13-year-old Kenslie together with over half a million more students across the country sat for their standard eight, Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams.

And as she prepared to sit for her final primary school exams at Lukenya school, her adoring dad was busy praying for her success as he took to social media to wish her nothing but success in a touching message accompanied by a photo of her.

Arocho's message was emotional and moving as he poured out his heart to his loving daughter whom he described as a 'Friend'.

A daughter: a female child, a person who grows up to be a friend, a daughter is a treasure and the father’s pride, a perfect gift of love.

All the best my Kenslie as you sit your KCPE exam at Lukenya school starting today. He posted.

Talk of a daddy's blessing! As education CS Fred Matiang'i stirred up the nation's atmosphere with his surprise early release of KCPE 2016 results, the Arocho's were in jubilation after realizing their beloved daughter had conquered the wolves, coming out unscathed after scoring a remarkable 400 marks out of a possible 500 marks.

Congrats to my one and only girl, Kensly Oguta Arocho for the great KCPE results, 400 marks makes dad very proud..

'We sing as we went' all the way from Lukenya School.

Well with the top student scoring 436, Kenslie was just 36 marks away from topping the nation.

According to Matiang'i, this year over candidates with over 400 marks were 5190 compared to last year’s 7560.

Speaking while releasing the results today, Education CS Fred Matiangi said the top KCPE candidate with special needs scored 421 marks, 5,190 pupils scored over 400 marks, compared to over 7,000 pupils in 2015.

Congratulations Kenslie from everyone at Radio Jambo and all the best in your future endeavors!
