Well known Lawyer Cliff Ombeta stated that he will not represent Mugo wa Wairimu with the current charges he is facing. He stated that doing so will result to a curse and will make him face backlash from women on social media.
“Being a man with a daughter,” Ombeta told journalists at Milimani Law Courts on Wednesday. “I do not want to be involved in this matter. I have previously managed to get him out on previous matters but now I have decided this matter is a little bit murky.”
Mugo was recently arrested by flying squad after hiding in one of his relatives in Kiambu county.
This is after he was found operating a clinic illegally and sedating patients so as to take advantage of them. He was also using banned substances while at the clinic.
Cliff Ombeta recent clients have been Joe Irungu (Jowie Joe ), Migori Governor Obado and also the Ngirita family.
