Defending champions Real Madrid came from a goal down to beat Paris st. Germaine 3-1 in the first leg of the champions league round of sixteen at Santiago Bernabeu.
Adrien Rabiot opened scoring for the visitors in 33rd minute before Cristiano Ronaldo restored parity from the spot minutes later. Ronaldo doubled the lead with six minutes to stoppage time before Marcelo sealed the crucial win two minutes later.
During the match, Ronaldo became the first player to score hundred champions league goals for a single club. Elsewhere Sadio Mane scored a hat trick as Liverpool all but secured a place in the quarters with a five nil away win win over FC Porto.
