Borussia Dortmund will face Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Cup final after disposing of rivals Bayern Munich in a thrilling contest at the Allianz Arena.

Ousmane Dembele scored the winner as the visitors booked their place in a fourth successive DFB-Pokal final, dumping the holders out in the process.

Marco Reus gave Dortmund a 19th-minute lead but Bayern were in control at half-time thanks to goals from Javi Martinez and Mats Hummels.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brought Dortmund level on 69 minutes and soon after Dembele stunned the home fans.

Dortmund will be fancied to make it fourth time lucky after three final defeats when they meet Frankfurt in Berlin on May 27.

Speaking after the game, a delighted Reus said: 'Nobody really believed in us anymore after we fell 2-1 behind. We really wanted to go to Berlin. Now we're looking forward to the final against Frankfurt.'

Bayern captain Philipp Lahm added: 'We went into the game with great expectations. You could tell how desperate we were to reach the final, even after we were pegged back to 2-2.'
