There was drama as three Ex-KCPE candidates allegedly stormed Administration Police (AP) camp in Poi, Baringo North Sub-County demanding to be impregnated.

According to Kapkoiwo Sub-location assistant chief Joshua Kale the girls aged 13 and 14 years were from Poi boarding and Kabarkebo primary schools.

"They might want to cut short their plans to join secondary school next year" Kale told media during a fundraiser at Poi primary school on Saturday.

He said the AP officers reported the incident to him saying the girls sent their young brothers to call them outside around 10pm at night on Friday.

"The girls said they no longer wanted to proceed to secondary school so they demanded pregnancies,...we wanted to discipline them immediately but to avoid issues we had to send them away and later reported the case to the area assistant chief" an AP officer said.

However Poi Primary school head teacher Joseph Lagat said he is not aware of such weird incidents by his school girls since they closed school last week and children broke for holiday.

"I am only aware of one notorious girl from the neighbouring school who used to rogue the entire village even during school days but I don't have no any knowledge about this latest case" Lagat said.

The head teacher confirmed indiscipline cases among teenage girls in the area saying they are not only pestering security officers but also male teachers.

He further called on police to investigate the matter saying concerted efforts is needed by all stakeholders including the parents, chiefs and security officers to be watchful and address such indiscipline cases among the children especially during the December holidays.

It is the same area where 15-year old girl committed suicide leaving behind her four months baby at two months ago.

The young mother Sylvia Jeruto sat for her KCPE exam in 2016 but failed to join form one after scoring 284marks.
