Manchester United's injury crisis has worsened as Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly were forced to come off against in their 1-1 draw against Swansea, on Sunday afternoon.

In only his ninth Premier League start of the season, Shaw made way after just ten minutes to further weaken Jose Mourinho's resources.

There was no apparent contact on Shaw as he sat on the ground shaking his head before hobbling to the touchline.

A number of concerned team-mates approached Shaw as he sat disconsolately on the turf.

Medical staff quickly assessed the 21-year-old and reached the decision that he would be unable to continue.

Then, to make matters worse, centre-half Bailly was unable to continue after picking up a knock in the second-half.

Bailly appeared to kick Fernando Llorente on the heel as the pair tussled for the ball, but came off worse and had to be replaced by Matteo Darmian minutes later.

United's injury list now makes for disturbing reading with the club absentees including Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Juan Mata, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and now Shaw and Bailly out of action.

This latest blow will be tough to swallow for Mourinho who is fighting on two fronts with the fight for Champions League qualification and a Europa League campaign.
