Gor Mahia beat rivals AFC Leopards 3-0 in the Nairobi derby in a sccintilating performance, to maintain the bragging rights and position two in the Kenyan Premier League table.

Both teams came into the match with something to prove particularly for Gor, who had been victims of a surprise loss to Mathare United last weekend.

The 'Green Army' ouplayed Ingwe as Meddie Kagere and George Odhiambo's goals ensured a 2-0 lead at half time. Timothy Otieno added the third one late, to see Ingwe fall to position 8.

From nine matches now, Gor have 19 points.

Ulinzi Stars thrashed host Thika United 3-2 to wipe the memories of their shock loss to Zoo Kericho last time out. Stephen Waruru scored a brace against his former side with Daniel Waweru netting a penalty.

Meanwhile, Zoo Kericho beat Western Stima 2-0, to move to position 15 while Stima fell to the bottom of the league as Chemili and Muhoroni youth played to a barren draw, in a replayed match, after the initial game was rained off with the sides tied at 1-1 on Saturday.

Wazito returned to the top of the NSL table with a 3-0  win over Nakuru All Stars yesterday, with Austine Ochieng, Erick Odhiambo and Pistone Mutamba on target for the students.

Meanwhile, Boniface Mukhekhe's effort was enough to see GFE 105 end their six game winless streak, with a 1-0 victory over Police. Kibera Black Stars were held to a one all with Agro Chemicals, while  Palos and Nairobi Stima played to a barren draw.
