FKF CUP QUARTERS: Kariobangi Sharks Tackle Eldoret Youth, Bandari Entertain Sony Sugar

The FKF cup enters the quarter final stage today, with two matches lined up.

Today, Kariobangi Sharks tackle Eldoret Youth from 1pm at Nyayo Stadium before paving way for Bandari vs Sony Sugar from 3.15pm at the same venue, with a semi final berth at stake.

Tomorrow champions Tusker continue their title defense against Vihiga United from 1pm, while AFC Leopards, will tackle National Super League side Wazito FC from 3.15pm.

Both matches will take place at Nyayo stadium.

Meanwhile, after postponement of match day 20 and 21 due to the general elections, Kenyan Premier League action resumes today with four matches lined up.

Table toppers Gor Mahia will be seeking to extend their lead when they come up against Muhoroni Youth in Kisumu, as Chemelil Sugar hosts Posta Rangers.

Mathare United will tackle Zoo Kericho at Ruaraka from 3pm with the match airing live on BAMBA SPORT. Other  matches will see Thika United play Nzoia Sugar, while Sofapaka will be up against Nakumatt.

In other news, Kenya begin their overall East Africa secondary school games title defense today, as the games get underway in Gulu, Uganda.

Kenya sent their biggest contingent ever of 770 students, and will fight against Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Kenya and Tanzania in the ten day event, over different disciplines.

Team Kenya will be captained by Byron Sadia, however majority of the young athletes who took part in the world under eighteen youth athletics championship in Nairobi will not be available.
