GIGIRI: Man Found Dead With Four Bottles Of Whisky Next To Him

Police are investigating an incident in which a man was found dead with four bottles of whisky next to his body in Gigiri area.

The body of the man was found on a seat long after he had died with the bottles next to it. It was moved to the mortuary.

Meanwhile, a man was lynched after he was found carrying a TV set. The man is believed to have stolen the set in Kayole area when an alarm was raised alerting the public who stoned him to death.

Such cases are on the rise in the city amid calls on the public not to lynch suspects.

In other news, Police are investigating an incident in which a Slovaki envoy to Nairobi collapsed and died at the embassy premises.

The commerce attaché to Nairobi is said to have collapsed and died yesterday and a probe has been opened into the same. It is not clear what caused the death.

His body was moved to the mortuary where a postmortem will be carried out this morning.
