Harambee Stars yesterday secured their first win under head coach Stanley Okumbi with a 2-1 win over DR Congo in a 2017 AFCON qualifier match.
The visitors took an early lead courtesy of Prince Oniangue's penalty before Ayub Timbe levelled the scores minutes later.
Eric Johana scored Stars winning goal in the second half. The win confirmed Guinea Bissau’s place in next year’s final after beating Zambia on Saturday. Kenya will play Zambia in their final match.
