Kenyan top football sides, Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards, Tusker FC and Nakuru All stars are all likely to play against top English side, Everton FC in the inaugural 8-team super cup tournament, set to be played in Tanzania in June.
This is after Everton announced they will take on the winners of the Sportpesa-sponsored tourney which will see them become the first Premier League side to ever play in Tanzania.
"The trip will see the Toffees play at the 60,000-capacity Tanzania National Main Stadium in Dar-es-Salaam on Thursday July 13." The statement read in part.
The first quarter finals match will see AFC Leopards tackle Tanzania's Singida on June 5th while giants, Yanga will entertain KPL champions Tusker FC, on the same date.
Gor Mahia and Nakuru All Stars will then take on Jang'ombe Boys FC and Simba FC respectively the following day.
Should any of the Kenyan sides emerge winners, they will make history as being the first Kenyan club ever to take on an English side when they take on the Ronald Koeman led side.
