Wanyama who has managed to keep his love life under wraps with for many years has for the first time revealed that he is in a relationship and the two are indeed planning to tie the knot, with the main challenge now being settling for the perfect date and venue.
For many years fans have been speculating on whom the Harambee Stars skipper is dating.
At one time, speculations were rife that the 26-year-old combative player was dating Nigerian-based song bird Victoria Kimani. The two celebrities however strongly refuted the claims and no one has ever been sure on whom the superstar is eyeing.
During an interview with Gidi and Ghost Mulee on Tuesday morning, Wanyama said that he is still trying to settle for the best date as well as the best venue for his wedding - a clear indication that indeed he is in a serious relationship which could lead to marriage.
This came when he was asked about what he loves doing on his free time.
"I love chilling and talking to kids on my free time or you would find me enjoying some football at home." He said.Suti ya harusi bado inapimishwa halafu bado inatafutwa. Date ndio shida lakini tunatafuta hiyo date, bado tu date na venue nitawaambia. Ngojeni." Added Wanyama amid laughter.
