Leader of Majority in Parliament Aden Duale has warned former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru to expect a tough battle from him after she implicated him in the KES 791-million NYS scandal.
Details of Waiguru's sworn affidavit over the NYS scandal came to light on Tuesday and it emerged that she had linked the Garissa Township MP, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Deputy President William Ruto's personal assistant Farouk Kibet and the DP's younger brother Luke Samoei, to the scandal.
Waiguru's affidavit was in response to another one filed by Josephine Kabura which had implicated the former CS in the scandal.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Duale said he would not take Wiaguru's allegations lying down and cautioned her to be ready to do battle with him.
