Kaiti MP Joshua Kimilu has warned youths arrested for gambling or in possession of illegal drugs not to seek for his assistance.

Kimilu said he had a list of those involved in illegal activities in the constituency.

He spoke at Kyuasini shopping center while distributing relief food to residents on Monday.

"If you find yourself in the arms of law enforcers, don't call me for help, I will not come for your rescue if you will be arrested breaking the law," he said.

He warned that drug abuse and gambling could harm education and development in the area.

The first term legislator also warned parents against using their children to collect relief food on their behalf.

"This little children should be in school learning or doing other activities at home, don't send them to collect relief food on your behalf," he said.

However, he told parents not to let children idle during the vacation.

"If you don't keep your children busy at home or take them to church, they will go out loitering in towns and streets where bad habits are beckoning them.

He was accompanied by Kaiti Assistant County commissioner Nicholas Kapoi who warned locals against trading on illicit brew.
