Several people were last night left homeless in a fire incident in Kibera slums, Nairobi. Police say they are yet to establish the cause of the fire that started from one of the affected houses before spreading fast to others in Kichinjio area.
No injury was reported in the incident and it took the intervention of a fire engine from the County Government to contain the fire. Police say an investigation into the incident has been launched even as those affected ask for help to reconstruct the structures.
