King of Javelin, Julius Yego, 27, is in stable condition after surviving a grisly road accident on Sunday night.
According to the Nation, the Olympic silver medalist narrowly survived an accident after his newly acquired sports utility vehicle (SUV) was involved in an accident along Kapsoya road, Eldoret near Equity Bank at around 10pm.
Yego, who was voted the 2015 sports personality of the year in the country, was rushed to the Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret Town where he was admitted for treatment.
He took to his Facebook page to assure his fans that he was in stable condition soon after the news broke.

The extensively damaged SUV was towed to the Eldoret Central Police Station.
