Fans across the country have in large numbers called upon Tottenham Hotspurs and Harambee Stars, midfield maestro, Victor Mugubi Wanyama to fly back to Kenya and exercise his democratic right by not only voting but voting for NASA’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga as Kenyans elect their leaders.
This came after the Harambee Stars took to Twitter to call upon Kenyans to vote as well as to maintain peace.
To my fellow countrymen exercising your democratic right tomorrow,I want to wish you all the best and have a peaceful one
His tweet somehow irked a number of Kenyans who automatically assumed he won’t be casting his vote with some counting his as a ‘wasted vote’.
One Adul Brian replied: hii ni kura ya NASA tumepoteza.
@SpursOfficial ona kazi yenyu sasa!
Kenyan Patriot said: Pray for our country bro. Also pray for a smooth transition of power.
