1. Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro crater located west of Arusha,Tanzania. It is named after the Ngorongoro crater which is a caldera ,a volcanic crater.
It is 20 km wide and has a permanent water and pasture source, the crater is host to almost every species of African animal. It is a beautiful place to visit and be one with the wild.
2.The Nile River
The Nile river is the longest river in the world with up to 6650 km. It starts from its source in central Kenya and ends at its deltas in Egypt.
The river has provided water for the inhabitants of the dessert like regions in the North.
3.The Red Sea Reef
It stretches over 1240 miles in the coast of Egypt and is known worldwide for being one of the best diving spots.
It has a vast species of sea creatures 1100 species to be exact and 10% of the species are only found in this region.
4.Sahara Desert
Being one of the the hottest deserts , it is actually the third driest dessert in the world with number one and two being the Antarctic and the arctic which even though might be covered with ice are considered as desserts.
The dunes are enormous with some of them reaching up to 180 meters high. The temperatures are also quite high during the day even reaching up to around 50 degrees and the night to close to freezing point.
5. Okarango Delta
The delta is located in Botswana and is the worlds largest inland delta.Produced by seasonal flooding, the deltas waters don’t flow to the sea, but are instead evaporated.
When the delta swells in the peak months, it’s two to three times its regular size, drawing animals from miles around and creating one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of wildlife
