Dear Arsenal fans you may have to look away for this, well Arsene Wenger did strike again.

With less than three weeks to the end of summer transfer window, Arsenal have managed to bring on board highly rated midfielder, Granit Xhaka, little known 21-year-old Japanese forward, Asano Takuma and 20-year-old defender, Rob Holding.

Arsenal's expenditure is more of a drop in the ocean compared to the likes of Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham, champions Leicester and Everton whom are all fighting for the three available trophies in England as well as the top four positions come end of season.

Speaking during the premier league season launch, Wenger shot himself in the foot when he claimed that despite the bee hive activities currently taking place in the league, he still doesn't think there are top players left in the market. Yes he just said that.

With Arsenal obviously short up front for the last three seasons, the burden will once again be on Giroud's shoulders to deliver the North London team to their premier league glory in 12 years, now that Wenger feels he's in the wrong market for top players.

Leicester City forward, Jamie Vardy rejected a move to Arsenal to extend his stay at the defending champions, while Wenger's long-term target Gonzalo Higuain became one of the most expensive players of all time after his 75M pounds switch to Juventus.

Sorry Arsenal fans, you just have to watch the video below to decide whether to shoot the messenger or Wenger instead.
