Luis Suarez was in typically scintillating form for Uruguay in their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Paraguay on Tuesday night.

The Barcelona superstar scored one goal and set up two more as Uruguay recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory in Montevideo. reports.

But, if you’ve watched the goals, you may have noticed that Suarez celebrated his penalty in rather bizarre fashion.

The striker pulled out a small toy and gave it a kiss, shortly after doing his usual celebration, where he kisses his wrist and fingers in honour of his wife and kids.

The reason Suarez kissed the action figure Well, The Sun claim to know the answer.

According to their report, the toy that Suarez kissed is a character called Officer Clawhauser from the children’s film Zootropolis.

Officer Clawhauser, for those interested, is apparently a “love able, overweight cheetah that helps the film’s star Judy Hopps when she first joins the police force”.

The Sun then claim that Suarez will have sat through movie with his children, who are aged two and six.

Zootropolis reportedly took in more than £1 billion at the box office this summer, but if you’ve never heard it of it: don’t worry, you’re not alone.

It means you either don’t have kids or you’re getting old. Sorry.

It remains to be seen whether this was a one-off celebration from Suarez.

Maybe he’ll pull out Officer Clawhauser again if he scores in Barça’s next match, against Alaves, on Saturday.
