Man United interim boss wants Rashford to become a true predator

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told to be more ruthless in the penalty box to improve his strike rate for .

The 21-year kept his cool from the penalty spot to complete United's stunning comeback against on Wednesday night, scoring his seventh goal under Solskjaer.

But United's caretaker boss believes there is more to come and used and Romelu Lukaku as examples of players who have learned to be predators.

Solskjaer, a prize predator himself for United, has praised Lukaku's work in training which has been rewarded with six goals in the last three games, and believes Rashford should work on his game too.

"I keep battering him with it that he also should score as many goals as Rom after the training session has finished. He should always get those simple tap-ins, finishes from close range, like Rom scored in the last few games." He said.

Solskjaer added and said...

"Rashy's goals are sometimes worldies and he does have a sensational strike of the ball. But you see the improvement and maturity and change in Cristiano's goals from when he was young to now, and he scores more from inside the box." Gunnar added.

It is three years ago since Rashford burst on the scene with two goals on his Premier League debut against Arsenal, and he goes to the Emirates on Sunday as a fully-fledged England international.

Solskjaer hopes the Manchester-born player will stay at United for the rest of his career and challenge Wayne Rooney's goalscoring record for the club.

"We know all the quality legends that we have had at this club who have stayed so long. They've been one club players and we hope Rashy is going to be one of them." He said.
