Manchester United played to a barren draw with Manchester City at the Etihad stadium, to leave their hopes of a fourth place English Premier League's finish hanging in the balance.

The match had few chances with Ander Hereara and Sergio Aguero coming close for United and City respectively. Despite Jose Mourinho's men extending their unbeaten run to 24 matches, they remain fifth on the table one point behind City.

United ended the match with 10 men after Marouane Fellaini was sent off late for head butting  Aguero.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will activate the clause to make Kingsley Coman's transfer from Juventus permanent at the end of the season.

The France winger initially joined Bayern on a two year loan deal from Juventus  in the summer of 2015, and had until the end of April to make the over 17 million pounds deal permanent.

The 20 year old was part of the France's runner's up squad at Euro 2016, and previously won league titles with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. He will now make Allianz Arena his home till 2020.
