Jose Mourinho has been accused of defrauding tax authorities by Spanish prosecutors for a sum of £2.9million (€3.3m) during his time at Real Madrid.
Spanish prosecutors said on Tuesday, they had filed a claim against Mourinho on two counts of tax fraud in 2011 and 2012, when he managed Real Madrid.
Mourinho owes the Spanish tax authorities €3.3m, a Madrid prosecutor said in a statement, adding it had presented a claim to a local court.
Meanwhile, it was also confirmed on Tuesday that Cristiano Ronaldo, a former player of Mourinho's, will testify in his tax fraud case on July 31.
The Real Madrid superstar has been accused of defrauding authorities of £12.95m and will give evidence after a complaint was filed to the Spanish court.
Lionel Messi, although his prison sentence and fine were cut, his conviction for failing to pay million €4.1 in taxes has been upheld by the country's highest court.
The Manchester United manager is yet to comment on the accusations.
