Kenyan international forward, Michael Olunga scored his first goal for Guizhou Hengfeng Zicheng on Friday, as he helped his side thrash Guangzhou R&F side 3-1 in Chinese Super League.

The 23-year-old 'Engineer' scored in the 22nd minute, levelling the score after cancelling out Eran Zahavi's goal, which had put the hosts ahead in the first minute of the game.

Former Hull City and Everton forward Nikica Jelavic took charge of the game, scoring a second half brace to end Guangzhou R&F's hopes of getting back into the match, handing the visitors their first win of the season after seven matches.

Olunga, who switched to the Chinese league after making a big money transfer from Swedish side Djurdargens IF in January, was making his fourth appearance for the club.

We wish the former Gor Mahia forward success in his new adventure.
