Liverpool and Egypt's star footballer Mohammed Salah joined legendary Chelsea and Ivory Coast forward, Didier Drogba to become the only two African footballers to storm into premier league's awards' list in style.

Salah who had an unforgettable season with Liverpool broke a bunch of long standing records thanks to his goal scoring form to be crowned the Premier league's best player in 2017-18 season, becoming the first African to do so.

The lethal Egyptian scored a record breaking 32 premier league goals more than any player in a 38-game campaign in the competition's history.

He went on to score against 17 different opponents making him the only player to ever do so in the league not forgetting he became the first player to win three Player of the Month awards in one season.

The only other African star who can be compared to this man Salah is Didier Drogba who took the premier league by storm, winning 4 league titles, 4 FA Cups and one Champions League title.

Drogba was the first African player to win a premier league golden boot winning it back in 2007 and 2010.

With Liverpool already in the champions league finals, we can only hope Mo Salah will cap off a successful season with a European title against Real Madrid in his maiden season with his club.

Keep making us proud.
