Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is asking the International criminal court to drop charges against Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua Arap Sang saying the move would strengthen peace and reconciliation in Rift Valley.
Murkomen along with MP for Malindi Dan Kazungu said there had been all indications that the case was weak and the ICC should not hold on it unnecessarily.
Murkomen says the case was distracting the DP from his work.
