NACADA Report Shows More Children Engaging In Drugs/Alcohol Abuse In N/Rift

A new report  by NACADA indicates that the number of children engaging in drugs and alcohol abuse is on the rise in the North Rift region.

Director of the Uasin Gishu Alcoholic Drinks Control Board Armstrong Rono says children as young as 9 years are engaging in heavy drinking and abuse of drugs in counties in the region.

He says they will team up with teachers and parents to carry out prevention programs to stop children from drinking and abuse of drugs.
