Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has gone to court to challenge the decision by Governor Evans Kidero to remove several roundabouts in the city. Sonko says that restructuring of roads is unlawful as the county government didn't provide alternative routes to motorists.
Meanwhile, barriers on Lusaka and Bunyala roundabouts that restrict motorists from taking right turns will be removed. Governor Evans Kidero however says the barriers will be re-introduced on Friday after the Southern by-pass that connects traffic from Mombasa road to Kikuyu is opened.
