Town West MP Samuel Arama is being held at Nakuru Railways Police Station over suspected land fraud.
His brother Charles Arama said that the MP was arrested at 9.30pm alongside his lawyer with accusations of a land dispute.
"On Friday night, the EACC detectives arrested my brother alongside hi lawyer claiming the arrest over a land fraud," said Charles.
Since the duo's arrest, family members, friends, supporters of the politician and Jubilee officials have been streaming in to the Railways Police station to plead for their release.
Supporters of the MP and members of his family are gathered outside the police station.
EACC officers hinted that they may be looking for more suspects and full information will be availed to the public later.
