Two people lost their lives in Narok County on Monday morning, when a Canter rammed into a trailer which had broken down in the middle of the road.
The accident occurred near the Suswa Trading Centre along the Narok-Mai Mahiu Road.
“The driver of the canter might have lost the control of the vehicle before ramming into a stationery trailer from the behind. The driver and his turn boy died on the spot,” a witness said.
Other witnesses said that the driver of the trailer left the vehicle on the road after it broke down last night
The canter was heading towards Narok Town from Nairobi.
The bodies were taken to Narok County Referral Hospital awaiting post-mortem examinations.
