A reveler died after he was hit by another one in a fight outside a bar in Fig Tree, Ngara Nairobi.
Police say the deceased fell on the concrete floor dying instantly as his attacker escaped on foot. The two had disagreed in a bar before they started to fight outside that led to the fatal incident. A probe has been opened with an aim of arresting the assailant.
The body was moved to the mortuary, Central OCPD Harisson Thuku says.
This comes barely weeks after a KDF officer died after he was attacked by youths at Nyataragi village, Ndeiya ward in Limuru sub-county.
Patrick Njenga, 31, was reportedly hit on the head by the group when he tried to stop them from fighting at a bar in the area.
Meanwhile, police are looking for a gang that raided a residential house in Karen area and robbed the occupants of Sh600,000 and other electronic goods.
Police say they suspect the attackers had prior information on the cash before they raided. None was injured in the incident that targeted Chinese nationals who stay there. A hunt on the gang is ongoing.
