Ngoma Festival! This is Kenya's biggest concerts yet, even other celebrities showed up to watch

Kenyans celebrities bought tickets to witness the first ever local concert by Kenyan artistes.

Ngoma Festival celebrated Kenyan legends that churned out hit after hit in the 90s.

By 9am, the concert venue, Carnivore Grounds was filled to the brim. Only Kenyan music was boomed through the speakers as DJ's Pinye and Joe Mfalme entertained fans.

On stage artistes like Pilipili, Jimwat, Nameless, Nonini, P Unit, Nazizi, Wyre, Mr Lenny, Kuguru, Habib and Redsan among others.

The gig's MC, Shaffie Weru egged on Nairobi Senator Johnston Sakajato get on stage and do a freestyle rap saying, "You are the senator, lets do this."

Sakaja is not one to turn down a challenge. He got on stage to the glee of the masses. He was cheered on to drop more bars. Sakaja impressed.

Also in attendance was Babu Tale, Diamond Platnumz manager.
