Zari Hassan has finally spoken up ever since her Valentine's Day post where she dumped award winning singer, Diamond Platnumz.
"Right now the trust is broken. Sioni kama inawezekana tena. We are not together. It is done. I have not talked to Diamond either," Zari told BBC.

Asked if any emissaries had been sent to try and reconcile them, Zari said, "No comment."

Adding, "I have decided to stay completely away from him to digest this whole thing and I need to be in a proper mental situation. I don't need to be in an emotional situation for me to start saying anything. So, I really don't want to speak so much about this issue."

Apparently, Diamond did not think Zari would dump him, but she did.
Zari revealed, "I don't think ame expect my post, he didn't see it coming. Nilikaa sana, muda mrefu nikafikiri vitu vingi ndio nikasema unajua nini? I need to post this. I need to end this. That is what happened."

Speaking candidly, Zari explained why she decided to dump Diamond after reports of his infidelities hit headlines, weeks after weeks after weeks after week without stoping.

"I mean, we were trying to see how we can move from the scandal ya kuwacha amepata mtoto so we can move forward. Alafu unaona vile sijui anakumbatiana huko na ma ex kwenye public. Vitu za kunizalilisha, vitu za kunifanya niwe very disrespected. It is not right," Zari said.

Did Diamond atleast explain why he was hugging and kissing his ex, Wema Sepetu in public?

"No, hakuzungumza na mimi. I did not ask him. Niliona ni kama it is very pointless."

She continued, "To be honest, his video with the ex ilitoka and I tried to ask. That was the morning before. Alafu, kila ukiuliza mtu anakua na story mingi, hapo hapo nikadecide kumblock kabisa from my contacts because ukiwa unatrust mtu, umempa maisha yako, lakini wewe anakuchukulia kawaida, na anazidi kukuzalilisha, he does things and thinks it is okay with him, but he is not thinking about you or the outcome! Hapo ndio nikasema you know what? We are done."
