Not a single day goes by without hearing cases of wife battery more so in Kenya, and as much as we may seem to only care about the women suffering in marriages, hundreds of men are suffering in the hands of brutal and heartless women as well.

But how many really bother to listen, talk or even report about cases of husband battery? Countable I think, why? Because it is obvious that 'Only weak men become subject to such cases' they say.

Remember the well documented husband battery cases which swept the country thanks to our Nyeri sisters? It seems like after the whole situation watered down or rather people stopped caring about such cases, some women are still committing such offences with nobody fighting for the affected men.

Last week, a man called live on Radio Jambo, during Massawe Japanni's Bustani la MJ show, to complain or rather report that his dear wife had made him a statistic in the fast growing husband battery chart, after she beat him up like a burukenge for being drunk.

"Iko shida kubwa...eh nimepigwa, nilipigwa usiku nilipigwa na wife." Said a distraught caller who only identified himself as 'Felix'

"Alinipiga mbaya, alinipiga hata sahii niko kwa kitanda (coughs) ..alinipiga nilikuwa mlevi" narrated Felix as he tried to contain his overwhelming emotions.
