NSIS Joins Search For Lawyer Simon Lilan Who Went Missing Five Days Ago

The National Security Intelligence Service (NSIS) has joined the search for lawyer Simon Lilan who went missing five days ago.

Data from his mobile phones is being analyzed in efforts to trace the lawyer whose family has also intensified a search for him to other parts of the country and neighbouring nations.

His brother, John Tallam, says the family has visited all areas including hospitals and morgues but they are yet to trace him.
On Thursday the Law Society of Kenya called on the police to carry out thorough investigations and locate the whereabouts of the missing lawyer.

LSK president Isaack Okero confirmed he had spoken to Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet and urged him to facilitate the safe return of the missing lawyer.

Lilan went missing on Monday and his family says their efforts to trace his whereabouts have borne no fruits. Lilan had obtained orders to stop the burial of former nominated MP Mark Too.
