NZUMARI: Today's Swahili Word Of The Day By Yusuf Juma

Yusuf Juma may know almost everything about the Swahili language but he comes nowhere close to Bingwa Mchekaji Bwana Jacob Ghost Mulee when it comes to knowing everything about something and something about everything.

A few weeks back when Gidi and Ghost had female boxer Fatuma Zarika as a guest in their show, Ghost claimed that he once played boxing and when Gidi claimed that he knew some Karate (perhaps to appear better and more sophisticated than Ghost), Good Ol' Ghost interjected with some Japanese terms used in such combat sports that left Gidi tongue-tied. "Do you know shotokan? Do you kanku dai?" Ghost was heard telling Gidi.

Not to be outdone today, Ghost was up to his old tricks once again. After YJ told them that nzumari is the Swahili word for flute, Ghost said that he can play the instrument perhaps in a bid to compensate for his not knowing what it is called in Swahili.

After having taken Gidi for a ride few minutes earlier with a cock and bull story that ended with a punchline, Gidi and YJ had every reason to doubt Ghost's claim that he could play the flute. With that in mind, they decided to put Ghost on the spot and told him that will play the instrument tomorrow at 0800h.

Will Ghost play the flute tomorrow or will he pull out another rabbit from his bag tricks? Tune in tomorrow to find out.
