Uganda is abuzz with a new fad where people are re-enacting the now infamous greeting between Toro King Oyoo Nyimba and Buganda Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga.
The Toro Kingdom and the Buganda are said to not be in good terms with each other and when the two leaders of the respective kingdoms met at a function, the Toro King did not hide his disdain for his counterpart when they shook hands.
King Oyoo Nyimba gave Prime Minister Mayiga a cold handshake and most Ugandans decided to make light of that moment by mimicking the greeting between the two.
The fad has caught on with Radio Jambo's Gidi and after his breakfast show today, he decided to re-enact that greeting with Radio Jambo Producer Justice Lang'at.
