Many people might not be knowing that a castle does exist in Kenya. It has been well maintained over the years. It was later transformed into a Country Lodge, Conference Centre and a Centre for the Arts located on a hill halfway between Nyeri and Nyahururu next to the Aberdare Ranges overlooking the Laikipia plains.
Castle building houses the main reception, the Ballroom used for dining, the Moat bar, the Dungeon with a disco and big screen cinema, the Bailey coffee lounge the Lord’s room, the Chamber and the Lord’s court.
The landscape and surrounding has a similarity to European castles. It has different activities which people can participate in, making it a whole new place where one can have a whole new experience .
