It seems Radio Jambo presenter Gidi Ogidi had an iconic moment this weekend.
Gidi bumped into Kenya's most legendary reggae DJ/MC Papa Charlie, who is remembered for popularizing reggae music back in the 90's.
Papa Charlie is regarded as the greatest MC who played reggae in many clubs across Nairobi, demystifying the music that most Kenyans associated with dingy clubs.
Today it is very common to have reggae music played in clubs that are considered upmarket.
A smiling Gidi posted a photo with the legendary MC captioning his picture;
