For those who have been asking where breakfast presenter, Gidi Gidi has been since Friday last week well you must have already known that he has been out of the country.

The vibrant presenter flew to Texas, USA on Friday where he was scheduled to meet up with fellow Kenyan music greats; Nonini, Longombas and Attitude the dude for a show themed 'Memorial weekend throwback party' on Saturday night.

As usual, Gidi has been keeping his fans posted on his daily activities in Texas as he continues to tour the southern american state.

However with his return to Kenya unknown, we explore Texas and come up with five awesome places Gidi should visit before jetting back.

  1. Palo Duro Canyon

It is the second largest canyon in USA which lies in the heart of the Texas Panhandle. It is home to Aoudad sheep, whitetail deer and even mountain lions. Tourists can ride horses and even get to dine on chuckwagon cuisine the canyon.

2. Dallas Fort-worth

If the football season is over, Gidi can delight in the numerous museums, historical sites within the city as well as parks.

3. El Paso

Located on the mexican border, El Paso has a number of tourist attractions which includes; There are many great attractions in El Paso, just some of which include; The Museum of Archeology at Wilderness Park, Tthe Chihuahuan Desert Gardens as well as the Centennial Museum.

4. San Antonio

According to wikipedia, San Antonio is a major city located  in south-central Texas widely known for it's rich colonial heritage. The Alamo, an 18th-century Spanish mission preserved as a museum, marks an infamous 1836 battle for Texan independence from Mexico. Somewhere Gidi would definitely love to tour.

5. Padre Island National Seashore

Located in South Texas, North Padre Island is the longest undeveloped barrier island in the world. The national seashore is 70 miles (110 km).

The seashore is famous for it's pristine beach, dune, and tidal flat environments.
