Posta Rangers Confirm Sammy "Pamzo" Omollo As Their New Head Coach

Posta Rangers FC has confirmed Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo as their new head coach, replacing Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno at the helm.

In the change of guard at the club which was announced on Wednesday by Chairman John Toniu, Zico has since been elevated to the role of technical director.

According to Toniu, Pamzo has signed a one-year contract with the Mail men as he makes his return to the Kenya Premier League. This is after he ditched the league for India in 2015.

Pamzo guided the current KPL champions Tusker to league glory in 2011 before being sacked the following season after posting a run of poor of results.

He then joined Millers Sony Sugar only to decamp in 2015 for an assistant role in an Indian Premier League side, East Bengal.

Posta Rangers finished fourth on 45 points in the just concluded 2016 season.

Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo, 46, is a former Kenya international football defender who has played for clubs in Kenya and India.

He is also a football analyst at Radio Jambo FM and played for the Kenyan team at the 1992 African Cup of Nations finals.
